As I go through the photo albums for NYFW 2011, all I can say is Totally 80s! The color palettes all seem to revolve around the 80s, with light pastels that remind you of the shoulder padded jackets from Miami Vice to the mauve and teal color combination found in jazzercise. In addition there is always the complementary staple combination of black and white. That of course wasn't enough, so to make them even more like the 80s the black and white fashions have polka dots or sequins.
